Happy final day of the year to my first EVER class!
Today, I will not be choosing a home-learner of the week, as you ALL deserve an award today. You have completed Year 4 and have also done so in the middle of the strangest and hardest circumstances! So well done ALL of you!!
Have an AMAZING Summer all of you! Remember to smile everyday and I can’t wait to see you all around school in September!
This week, 4HK created diamante poems, using a short video clip called ‘The Lighthouse’ for inspiration. The diamante poems encourage you to use a variety of word classes to describe the subject or object at the start and end of the poem.
4HK’s poems are so powerful and really give the reader of a sense of what it is like to be near a lighthouse at night. Well done! Can you see which one is yours?
This week in Year 4, we were looking at onomatopoeia and how these kinds of words can be used to describe settings or other things. Here are some of the poems that my class produced for their writing today:
Thank you Leesha, Roxy, Armands and Zara for these wonderful poems.
Well done to all of you for continuing to work through all the home-learning we have provided over the first half of the Summer term. You have produced such a range of work, including artwork, dance, writing, DT and skills for life. You should be proud of yourself!
Keep up the fabulous work ALL of you! You are keeping a smile on our faces by showing us lovely pictures of your learning. I can’t wait to see you all next half-term.
