Today, I will not be choosing a home-learner of the week, as you ALL deserve an award today. You have completed Year 4 and have also done so in the middle of the strangest and hardest circumstances! So well done ALL of you!!

Final ‘socially-distanced’ picture of the year
You have ALL played a huge part in making our class so special

Have an AMAZING Summer all of you! Remember to smile everyday and I can’t wait to see you all around school in September!

Fabulous Work Friday

Happy Friday everybody!

Take a peak at some of the great work and activities 4HK have been up to over the last week or so…

Kitty ‘wow’ed me with her impressive grammar.

Armands has revised the locations of the world’s oceans.

Nura created her own great learning task and made three underwater food chains.

Armarniyah has practiced her drawing and produced three amazing artworks. This was just one of them!

Zara managed to get more correct answers than there were questions. Amazing!

Nihal wrote a lovely prayer showing what he is thankful for.

Jemima had a fabulous time playing ‘The Bean Game’ for P.E

Leesha produced this excellent piece of writing. She clearly put 110% into this work.

Thanks 4HK for continuing to put your ALL into your work.

Have a lovely weekend,

Miss Kallend and Miss Cattrall

Excellent diamante poems from 4HK..

This week, 4HK created diamante poems, using a short video clip called ‘The Lighthouse’ for inspiration. The diamante poems encourage you to use a variety of word classes to describe the subject or object at the start and end of the poem.

4HK’s poems are so powerful and really give the reader of a sense of what it is like to be near a lighthouse at night. Well done! Can you see which one is yours?

Onomatopoeia Poems

This week in Year 4, we were looking at onomatopoeia and how these kinds of words can be used to describe settings or other things. Here are some of the poems that my class produced for their writing today:

Thank you Leesha, Roxy, Armands and Zara for these wonderful poems.

Have a lovely weekend everyone,

Miss Kallend
